Clutch is our favorite client. Because it's us. And Nova Clutch is Casa Nova Studios. Yeah, that's right clients...we can rock too. The latest EP is available for download at www.novaclutch.net. Many shows, videos, and music coming soon to a URL near you.
NOVA CLUTCH - LIVE FOR TODAY
Jenda's
worked out of the studio for several years. She's made music
from a young age at The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Choir to
now at clubs around NYC. She's found her musical family at
CNS and wouldn't have it any other way. Expect a debut release
from Jenda and CNS in 2008.
JENDA WIGHT - UNSTABLE MIND
Travis graced us with his southern twang back in the summer of 2007. We completed 6 songs with him, and had a blast doing it. Travis was our first country project, and we're very proud of the outcome. This was mainly a recording gig for us, but we helped a little bit with production along the way too.
TRAVIS SEAN MILLER BAND - COFFIN NAILS
Kendra came to the studio in early 2007 to do about 95% of the tracking for her debut album New Voice. She brought a who's who of session players and a year later, the project got written up in Recording Magazine. Check out the article here. As you'll see below, there were some special guests on the album too!
KENDRA ROSS - CAN I KEEP IT (FEATURING TALIB KWELI & TIYE PHOENIX)
Terence
was the honorary guest on our main facility's maiden voyage.
Armed only with an acoustic, his voice, and five beautifully
written songs, Terence gave us our first opportunity to flex
our production/arranging muscles in Studio A, and because
of his talent, the work wrote itself. They call him America's
Guest.
TERENCE CALDON - LAST HELLO
Looking
to the future, Casa Nova also realizes it is through the children
and working with Ros Tesoriero, aka Aunty Rozzy, allowed us
our first opportunity to enter this market. The songs accompany
a wonderful children's story written by Ros and will be reaching
the homes and hearts of children very soon!
ROS TESORIERO aka "AUNTY ROZZY" - NANNA'S CARROTS
Mike B, aka Invisible Man, has a unique style in that he combines guitar, vocals, and beat boxing. Throw in a looping machine and you have the modern day urban one man band. Mike is also, by the way, an incredibly gifted guitarist as is. We're proud of the album we recorded with him, but the experience must be seen live.
MIKE B. - NEVER LOOKIN' BACK
Rich
was one of our first clients to work with us in the Williamsburg
facility. We had the pleasure of working with two of his acoustic/vocal
arrangements. He brought them to us looking to build the flesh
around the skeletons. Honest Man is our favorite, and it's
already gotten radio play. Rich's writing is super catchy.
Check him out!
RICH LEVERING - HONEST MAN
John Olthoff is a mytological name in the studio. John came into the studio donning a cowboy hat, a country-western shirt, and a bolo tie. He tracked for 6 hours, never exeeding two takes/track, and is now like #1 on SoundClick.com. He captures Southern Americana with a modern day twist, and, we think he's from Long Island.
ACTUAL RABBITS! - THIS TOWN
Patrick is an accomplished concert flutist who has performed with orchestras all over the world. He was even the principal flutist at Rhein-Main Theater in Frankfurt, Germany. Patrick came into the studio last October to record and basically, all jaws hit the floor.
